On the website, our PDF tools run entirely in your browser — your documents are processed locally on your device. The site may process limited connection data (e.g., IP address, user‑agent) for security and operations when your browser connects to our host/CDN.

In the Android app, most tools also run on‑device. Certain Pro Plus features use an online conversion service to provide higher‑fidelity results (details below). We do not retain the contents of your documents.

Personal Data We Process

  • Connection data captured by hosting/platform (IP, user-agent, request metadata) for security and troubleshooting.
  • Analytics (if enabled): privacy-friendly, no non-essential cookies; aggregate usage only, no profiling.
  • Advertising data: Google AdSense (web) and AdMob (mobile app) may process personal data such as IP address, device information, and browsing activity to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. This processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • In-App Purchases (Mobile App): Google Play processes payment information when you purchase Pro or subscribe to Pro+. We do not collect or store payment details. See Google Play's Privacy Policy.

Mobile Application

Our Android app processes the same data as described above. Additionally:

  • Local storage: Your purchase status and app preferences are stored locally on your device.
  • No account required: We do not require registration or collect user account data.
  • On‑device processing: Most PDF tools run locally on your device.
  • Online conversion (Pro Plus only): The following features transmit your file to our conversion provider solely to perform the conversion, then return the result to your device:
    • Anything to PDF
    • High‑quality conversion modes in PDF to Word and Word to PDF
    Provider: Cloudmersive. We do not retain document contents; processing occurs on Cloudmersive infrastructure and may involve international transfer subject to their terms. We send only what is necessary to perform the conversion.

Purposes & Legal Bases

  • Security and service operation (legitimate interests).
  • Basic usage measurement/quality (legitimate interests or consent, depending on analytics mode).

Retention

Connection/runtime logs are retained for short periods necessary for operations and security, then deleted or anonymised. Analytics data (if enabled) is stored only as long as needed for aggregate reporting.

Processors & Transfers

Hosting/edge/CDN and logging are provided by our platform provider; traffic may be routed outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards and GDPR-compliant terms.

Your Rights

You may request access, deletion, correction, restriction or object to processing where applicable. Email hello@utilixy.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission.

Cookies & Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our website. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide relevant advertisements about goods and services that may be of interest to you.
